The Fashion Court has a write-up of Kristen's outfit for two separate appearances. The first is for the TODAY Show.
Kristen Stewart joined her co-star Charlize Theron bright and early this morning for an interview on NBC’s “The Today Show” to talk to Matt Lauer about their new movie “Snow White and the Huntsman”. The 21-year-old actress kept cool in a fun casual look that included some sexy leather and jersey-combo bondage skinny pants by Helmut Lang and a black single-breasted “Becky” jacket from designer Rebecca Minkoff. Kristen added some color to the mix with a button-down crepe pale yellow cropped “C-Bauxite-SM” top from the Spring 2012 collection by Diesel. I really like the unique faded black blotted distressing throughout the design. I’m kind of obsessing over her hair right now, to be honest. This zig-zag parted, multi-tucked, half-up/half-down style she had going on… it kind of made the whole look work to me. I think I stared at it throughout the entire interview segment. The new Balenciaga gal showed some love for the fashion house by rocking a pair of black leather “Arena” lace-up oxfords. I’d like to think of Kristen’s blazer, button-down shirt and pants as one step closer to a menswear-inspired suit. Give it time, it’ll happen.
The second is for 'My Valentine' video premiere hosted by Paul McCartney and Stella McCartney.
Kristen Stewart was one of the many A-list celebs at the star-studded Stella McCartney bash tonight at the designer’s Los Angeles shop. The event was in honor of Paul McCartney’s new music video premiere for his single “My Valentine”, featuring cameos by Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman. The 22-year-old “Snow White and the Huntsman” actress arrived looking very school girl-meets-”Heathers”, wearing a black blazer and a gorgeous cobalt blue mini skirt from McCartney’s Fall 2012 collection. Kristen paired the pieces with a white H&M button-down shirt and layered on a pretty vintage Cartier pendant necklace. First, it was the blazer with leggings on the “Today” show… and now a blazer with a skirt? I think Kristen is slowly, but surely working her way into the cool and sexy androgynous look that I know she can pull off. As for her hair, it styled in her signature effortlessly edgy unkempt way. She finished off the look with a pair of comfy black patent “Morgana” loafers, also by Stella McCartney. This left her with zero need to change out of pumps into casual sneakers. I’d like to see her in flats more often, they work for her, they’re easier for her and they fit her style.via The Fashion Court
